Yoav Avneyon

yoaView is an initiative of Yoav Avneyon who, after a business career, decided to focus on his true love: Israel, its people, land and history.

In 1807 the head of his family immigrated from a village near Thessaloniki, Greece to the Old City of Jerusalem. His great grandfather was a famous publisher in Jerusalem and a street is named after him.

This background, together with knowledge and love of the land and its people, provide the essential ingredients for a successful guidance.
 
Yoav was born in 1955, and is married to Adi, an Occupational Therapist. They live in Moshav Rishpon, a village near the Mediterranean Sea, with their four wonderful children. He also enjoys dabbling in carpentry, photography and old maps.
 
A Licensed Tour Guide in English and Hebrew (License no. 8335) with academic degrees in Geography, Economics and Business Administration, Yoav also serves as a Lieutenant Colonel (res.) in the IDF.
 
His previous career activities have included management positions in a bank, a hi-tech company, an investment company and a commercial group with international concerns.
