The Jerusalem Development Authority, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Jerusalem Municipality and managed by the Ariel Company, is pleased to invite tourists, residents and visitors to the medieval celebration of Jerusalem Knights in the Old City during "Autumn Nights in the Old City".

Every Thursday, during the month of September, as evening falls, the public is invited to enter through the Jaffa Gate to a newly restored ancient world; to meet typical characters from the past, to delight in faraway sounds, to enjoy dance performances, acrobatics and theater and to take part in a spectacular and extraordinary event, all in the special atmosphere between the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem.

The journey will begin at Jaffa Gate, from there to the Muristan square and back to Jaffa Gate on a circular, fascinating and fun filled route.

"Jerusalem Knights in the Old City" is open to the public, free of charge.

A special circular walking trail will take tourists and visitors in a loop from Jaffa Gate to Muristan Square and back, taking in all the medieval attractions as well as the inherent beauty of the Old City itself.

Local businesses, cafes and restaurants will all stay open late, many offering special deals for the Jerusalem Knights celebration.
