The Edicule of Ascension is one of the interesting Pilgrimage sites on Mount of Olives

For hundreds of years, Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox Churches such as Greek and Armenian descent gather on the twenty-first of May to celebrate in the place where Jesus ascended into heaven after his resurrection and journey of 40 days in the Holy Land.

The photo below was taken in the Edicule of Ascension where you can see Russian Orthodox Monks celebrating the Ascension of Jesus.
